Colombian singer Shakira is going to perform the “Waka Waka” at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. She’s teaming up with Freshlyground once again for a performance at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, on July 11th.

Shakira will take the stage at 6:40 local time for a performance of the international hit. It’ll air on all networks showing the World Cup, estimated audience of 1000 million. The official World Cup South Africa 2010 song “Waka Waka” has become a number 1 hit all over the world, hitting the top spot in countries like Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Switzerland, and France.

The song also is included on the “Listen Up! Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album” released by Sony Music. Shakira’s also sure to perform the track on her upcoming world tour, which kicks off September 17th in Uncasville, CT and continues on through the end of the year to spots like Barcelona, Munich, Berlin, and London. Her next album is said to be rock influenced, and also featuring sounds from Dominican Republic and Colombia. Today, the 33-year-old pretty Colombian singer played with a brown cub and white lion at the popular tourist attraction.
