El Dorado World Tour will take off on Nov. 8 in Cologne, Germany at Lanxess Arena and hit a total of 32 venues throughout the world. Shakira will make stops in France, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Switzerland before heading to North America in 2018.
The North American leg of Shakira’s tour will begin on Jan. 9 at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida and see the 12-time Grammy Award winner perform at some of the region’s largest arenas including Madison Square Garden in New York, the brand new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and The Forum in Los Angeles.
A Latin American leg of the tour will be announced at a later date.
The tour announcement comes on the heels of Shakira’s eleventh studio album release, El Dorado, which hit number one on iTunes in 37 countries and held five of the top ten spots on the iTunes Latino Chart within hours of its release. Her single, “Chantaje” featuring Maluma, is 16x diamond certified, while its video currently has been viewed over 1.4 billion times.
Tickets for the El Dorado World Tour go on-sale to the general public beginning Friday (June 30) at 10am local time.
